A Simple Collective is looking for interns to join our organization. Perfect for individuals looking to learn professional arts practices, to gain skills that will help with future art-industry work, and who want first-hand experience working with artists and industry professionals.

Applicants should be self-starters, interested in content-driven contemporary art, have good attention to detail, and be comfortable interacting with the public. With a time commitment of a minimum of six hours a week for three months, interns learn all aspects of the business and provide assistance with marketing and PR, programming, exhibitions, events and workshops, and development.

A Simple Collective is a passionate group of contemporary artists and arts professionals dedicated to supporting access and independence in the arts while promoting the San Francisco Bay Area as a hub of unique and innovative art activity in the international art scene. We mix ingenuity and a hint of subversion with sharp business-savvy and real-world experience to create a new business model aiming to show creativity and equality can be commercially viable in our new economy.

ASC Projects, our exhibition space, is located at #104 on Treat at 18th Street, in the ActivSpace building. Public hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays noon to 5pm and readily by appointment.
